Certifications

Open Water Diver

A scuba diving certification or “Open Water Diver Certification” allows you to dive anywhere in the world. Like driving a car, scuba diving requires specific knowledge, skills, and training. An Open Water Diver certification is your passport to underwater adventure. With an Open Water certification, you can dive to 60 feet or 18 meters. Must be at least 10 to sign up; parental consent is required for those under 18.

Our 3 Step Scuba Certification Process - Done At Your Own Pace And Schedule:

  • Step 1: NAUI e-learning complete at your schedule and device that allows you to learn at your own pace.
  • Step 2: Confined water training in a pool. This hands-on training will allow you to learn skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Step 3: Open Water Training provides four (4) dives that are designed to expand your skills gradually that allows you gain confidence with each skill and dive completed.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You’ll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving, and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it’s like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications. With an Advances Open Water certification, you can dive to 100 feet or 30 meters.

Rescue Diver With Emergency First Response (EFR)

The PADI® and NAUI Rescue Diver courses will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence, and have serious fun along the way. Rescue diver training is more about how to prevent situations and then how to react if something happens.
  • Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and in the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.
  • You will develop accident prevention and management skills that include self-rescue, assisting a buddy and working within a team during an emergency response.
  • Your training will focus on scenarios in which you adapt rescue techniques to your personal strengths and adjust to the situation

Total Time Commitment:

  • 3-5 Days depending on your schedule and time you can commit during a minimum of one pool session and one to two dive trips. Schedule is not lock step as we training to standard, not time.

Our 2 Step Process - Done At Your Own Pace And Schedule:

  • Step 1: PADI and NAUI e-learning complete at your schedule that makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Complete the knowledge development section of your course whenever, wherever it's convenient for you.

Master Scuba Diver (1)

Master Scuba Diver Certification

Dive Master

The divemaster course will transform you from a passionate diver into a dive leader. Expand your knowledge of scuba diving concepts and equipment through independent study. Gain leadership abilities through practical workshops with an instructor mentor. The diver master course is your first step into a professional diving career.

Night Diver

Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light’s beam, on controlling your buoyancy by and staying with your buddy and on paying attention to details you may overlook during the day. During three-night dives, you’ll practice:

  • Light handling and communication techniques.
  • Entering, exiting, and navigating in the dark.
  • Identifying how plants and animals differ or change behavior at night.

Under Water Photographer

Through hands-on training during two scuba dives and guidance from your instructor, you’ll discover:
  • How to choose the right underwater camera system for you.
  • The SEA (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) method for getting great shots quickly.
  • Principles for good composition of underwater images.
  • Practical techniques to take great photos with your digital camera.

Peak Performance Buoyancy

During two scuba dives, (1 Pool and 1 Sea Dive) you’ll learn how to:
  • Determine the exact weight you need, so you’re not too light or too heavy.

Search and Recovery Diver

Gathering information and resources, then carefully planning a search are the first important steps you learn. During four scuba dives you’ll practice:
  • Swimming search patterns using your compass and natural navigation.
  • Locating large and small objects using various search patterns.
  • Using a lift bag for large or heavy objects, plus other recovery methods.
  • Planning a search operation based on facts gathered about a lost object prior to the dive.

Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox)

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, and two optional (or required) scuba dives, you’ll:
  • Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
  • Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
  • Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

Emergency First Response (EFR) (separate from recuse diver course)

  • Primary Care (CPR) – This course teaches you the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. You’ll practice eight skills for aiding patients who aren’t breathing, have no heartbeat, may have a spinal injury, may be in shock or who may have serious bleeding. You’ll learn how to perform CPR and continue to monitor the patient, so that you provide every possible chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive.
  • Secondary Care (First Aid) – Because many medical conditions are not life-threatening and emergency medical services are sometimes delayed or unavailable, this course teaches you how to provide first aid that eases pain and reduces the risk of further harm. You’ll learn to assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.

Deep Diver

Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and how important it is to know your personal limits. During four deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:
  • Specialized deep diving equipment.
  • Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.
  • Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.

Wreck Diver

There are many different types of wrecks, some of which are protected by laws that guard their historical and cultural significance. Your training starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks. During four dives you’ll learn:
  • Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks.
  • Surveying and mapping a wreck.
  • Using penetration lines and reels to guide exploration.
  • Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants.

Dry Suit

During one pool session and two open water dives, you’ll learn how to dive in a dry suit comfortably and confidently. An experienced instructor will help you dial in your buoyancy and shorten the learning curve. Unlike wetsuits, dry suits are filled with air. During your dry suit course:
  • You will learn how to control the air in your dry suit along with your buoyancy.
  • You will practice taking your dry suit on and off, determine how much weight you need, and master basic dry suit skills in a pool before making two open water dives.
